Vik demonstrates in his work an interest in discussing the true meaning and value of objects. His works invite us to understand the part before the whole, or the whole before the part. Small diamonds form celebrities. Confetti brings historical figures to life. Shredded – and useless money gains new value by recreating elements of nature. Vik lends this same creative eye to ceramics and creates a new texture that surprises both eyes and hands.
